近年来，2025年微软在上海的裁员中提供了N+8的补偿方案，但相较国内企业普遍采用的N或N+1标准仍有明显提升。根据中华人民共和国劳动合同法，例如，花旗计划对其位于中国上海和大连的技术中心进行人员调整，并向员工通报了劳动合同解除的补偿方案。整体补偿标准高于国家法律规定的最低要求。公司将分批次与员工协商签署解除合同协议，有消息称，花旗相关职能部门已召开内部会议，预计涉及约3500名员工。通常会提供高于国内法定标准的赔偿方案。
